Hand Cutting Tutorials
No cutting machine? No problem! This page contains links to tutorials on how to hand cut my layered cardstock designs with scissors or a craft knife.
My team and I are in the process of adding hand cutting versions to all of our existing layered SVGs and will be including them with any new designs that are released.
With around 1,500 older designs to work through, we are expecting to complete this legacy work by mid-2026.
As of February 2025, we have added hand-cutting versions for most of the free designs and the gnome designs.
All layered designs released since February 2025 have hand-cutting and print/sublimation versions included.

The following card making techniques are all suitable for crafting without a digital cutting machine.
Iris Folding
My favourite card making technique! Place folded strips of paper in a spiral shape, following a pattern, to make unusual but beautiful cards.
Card Stitching
Prick holes in cardstock following a pattern, then join the dots together with a needle and thread to make pretty stitched cards.
Card Sketches
Stuck for ideas on how to start your card? These sketches are designed to give layout inspiration. Ideal for using up your patterned scrapbook papers!
