I made this lantern with metallic cardstock and regular card stock. I used parchment paper in place of vellum, although it is hard to stick it to the matt. I had to use strong grip matt. I thought it turned out very cute.

Father’s Day Card for my husband.

I loved these cards! I used my Maker to cut the cardstock for the card, which was very easy. I did not have acetate so I used transparency sheets which worked well to do the coloring (stained glass). I also did not have Sharpies at the time and used my alcohol ink markers which worked well. The coloring was a bit time consuming, but I enjoyed it because of the finished product. Thank you Sarah for another great design.

This is made with card stock for all but the letters which I made using iron on vinyl. I will be putting this on a package instead of a bow for a very big fan of the Packers. It was a little tricky for the helmet, but I think it turned out awesome.

I used Sarah’s Cascade card from the Countdown classes. Also used her cute Gnome Bees to decorate. Cute, cute, cute card.

This card is for my coffee group friend for her birthday. She loves cats and especially loved the card. She immediately started moving the cat across the card. I used the layered paper circles instead of a real penny. The cardstock is 65lb. As the background, I did a print-and-cut of a seamless butterfly print. This was so fun to make and even more fun to watch my friend play with it!

This card was given to a friend of mine for her birthday. She wants to collect elephants, so I decided to go with her theme of elephants. When I started doing Cricut, Sarah was the first person I followed. I love the layering technique and her gnomes! The gnome and elephant are so cute! The background is a print-and-cut picture of a pond and open field. I thought it looked like a place elephants would roam. The paper is 65lb. I did a label for Happy Birthday and cut it out with a colored background. My friend really enjoyed the card.

This is a birthday card for a friend of mine. I chose the bird as I love Hummingbirds! The bird is layered which is one of the first things I learned when I started using Cricut. The background is a print-and-cut of a field of flowers for the bird to fly among and drink the nectar. The paper is 65lb. I had problems with the size of the bird as some of the cutouts were very small. It turned out ok but I definitely would use this layered image for a bigger project.

These cards were given to my friends in a coffee group. I hope it’s ok that I had grouped them together in this picture. The paper I used, which is my go-to paper, is 65lb. I love the cactus card and the way it pulls the picture of cactus, which is a print-and-cut image of a desert, together. It turned out perfect! The turtle is a layered image of a sea turtle. I cut the ocean background and sliced images of fish, turtle, and ocean bottom. The seahorse, fish (green), and plants were individually cut to add color. It made it looks like the turtle was really swimming! The sunflower card is a print-and-cut image of a cowgirl hat with sunflowers attached around the brim. One of the flowers pops out which I made as an added touch. Each friend really enjoyed receiving the card for their birthday.

Made several of the teacher gnomes. Added two magnets to the back. They were used for teacher door prizes.

Used the stork design (minus a couple back layers) for a baby scrapbook page.
