Quick & Easy Cards
Create beautiful handmade cards while building real confidence in your cutting machine software.

These simple cards are perfect for using your patterned paper scraps too!

What’s included?
This Class is designed to help you become more comfortable using essential design tools inside your cutting machine software. Along the way, you’ll practise:
- Using shapes to build card bases and layered panels
- Alignment tools to perfectly position and space elements
- Offset to create borders and cutout gaps
- Slice or Subtract (depending on your program) to remove shapes cleanly and create precise cutouts
By following along with the videos, you’ll actively build the card design yourself. You’ll learn how to size elements correctly, create evenly spaced panels, generate cutout shapes, and layer patterned and plain cardstock for maximum effect.
By the end, you won’t just have one finished card — you’ll understand the techniques well enough to create endless variations.
This project is perfect for crafters who want to move beyond simply uploading SVGs and pressing “Make.” You’ll gain hands-on experience with core design tools while creating a polished, gift-ready card that looks intricate and impressive.
If you’re ready to feel more confident in your machine software and make a beautiful card at the same time, sign up and start crafting today.
Each lesson is recorded separately in Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio* and CanvasWorkspace**, so you can follow along whether you have a Cricut, Silhouette or ScanNCut machine.
* Note that the Silhouette Studio tutorials require Designer Edition or higher. You cannot follow the steps in the free/Basic/Standard edition of Silhouette Studio as it lacks the necessary features.
** The ScanNCut tutorials work best when using the installed software/program version of CanvasWorkspace, not the online/web version.
