How to make a handmade Christmas card in 15 minutes
Step 1: Print the craft sheet
Print the snowflake Christmas craft sheet onto Crafty Bob Glossy Paper which is a special type of paper designed especially for greetings cards and crafts.
I like to use this paper because the printer ink dries instantly and is smudge-proof straight after printing, meaning that I can start using the printed sheet straight away.
If you aren’t a fan of the glossy shiny look to your printouts then the paper is available in matte too.
Step 2: Cut out the topper
Cut out the snowflake topper and leave a little bit of white around the edge.
I used a paper trimmer to ensure straight edges on my cuts.
Use some double-sided tape to attach the snowflake topper to a 6x6 inch square card blank. I used a pearly pale blue card to match the blues of the snowflakes.
Step 3: Add decorative peel-offs
Add some silver peel-off stickers to the edge of the snowflake heart paper to add some sparkle.
Step 4: Add buttons & gemstones
Stick a selection of buttons, gemstones and sequins in various shades of blue onto about 1/3 of the snowflakes inside the heart shape.
Step 5: The final touches!
Use your craft glue to add a few more buttons in one corner of the card. Attach a Christmas sentiment using 3D foam pads so that they stand out a little bit from the main card for that extra bit of impact.
